In 2004, the Himmelgeist Bridge Run was launched as part of the 1100th anniversary celebration of Himmelgeist. The starting shot is fired each year at Steinkaul in Himmelgeist, and the route runs along the Rhine, almost to the heart of Düsseldorf. We are also planning our beautiful half marathon for 2024, with registration opening on December 1, 2023.
