Nordkirchener Halbmarathon

The Nordkirchen Half Marathon takes place on August 2, 2026, and offers a scenic route through the Nordkirchen Palace Park and the Obsen farming community. Runners start at the stadium in the palace park, run two laps around the stadium, and then proceed on a nearly 10-kilometer loop through picturesque parklands and villages. Several refreshment points along the route provide supplies for participants. The finish line is again at the stadium, where spectators cheer on the runners and create a pleasant shared experience.

Self-provisioning can be deposited before the start (8:00-8:45 AM). Refreshment points with water at km 4.5, 7, 9, 10.5, 14, 16.5, and 18.5. Late registrations on-site until 8:00 AM are possible for an additional fee of 3 EUR. Bibs with chips for electronic timing are issued and collected after the race but can be kept as souvenirs. The route passes through Nordkirchen Palace Park and Obsen, with start and finish at the stadium in Nordkirchen Palace Park. Registration is available online and on race day. Results are live. Parking is available at the stadium, Nordkirchen comprehensive school, and the Sundern parking lot.
