Falke-Rothaarsteigmarathon

The 23rd FALKE Rothaarsteig-Marathon will take place on October 17, 2026, in Schmallenberger Sauerland. The event offers disciplines for marathon, half marathon, walking, Nordic walking, and a 12.5 km AOK run. The course runs through the scenic region of the Rothaar Mountains and is recognized as an approved popular race by the DLV. Over 1,000 active runners participate annually and enjoy the varied trail and forest landscape.

Registrations are possible from May 1, 2026. Late registrations are accepted until half an hour before the respective start. The start times are staggered: marathon at 11:00 AM, half marathon at 12:00 PM, walking and Nordic walking at 12:15 PM, AOK run at 11:45 AM. The event location is Latroper-Str. 57392 Fleckenberg in Schmallenberger Sauerland. Registration begins on May 1, 2026. No dog runs are permitted. Detailed course description available.
