Drachenlauf

The Dragon Run is a challenging trail run in the Siebengebirge near Königswinter, taking place on October 25, 2026. The course leads through one of Germany's oldest nature parks and offers technically demanding trails with over a thousand meters of elevation gain, steep ascents, and long downhill sections. The race is aimed at experienced runners who want to experience nature and their limits. The event is characterized by a special atmosphere in the autumnal forest of the Rhenish Alps and promotes a sense of community among participants.

Registration is exclusively possible online via raceresult.com. There is a participant limit of 555 runners. Late registrations on-site are possible if spots are still available, with a fee of 4 euros. Participants who take part for the 10th, 15th, or 20th time receive special All-Timer shirts and bibs. Shuttle buses run from the largest parking lot (REWE parking lot) to the start. The award ceremony takes place around 2 p.m. at the Heinrich-Imbusch-Haus. Registration opens on June 14, 2026, at 8 p.m.; the event takes place in autumn in the Siebengebirge; trail with technical challenges and significant elevation gain.
