Race description
The Sparkassen Phoenix Half Marathon in Dortmund is a popular half marathon race held annually on October 3rd. The 21.1 km course runs through the southern part of Dortmund, passing Phoenix Lake, Phoenix West, Westfalenpark, and Rombergpark, and is fully measured to allow for personal best times. In addition to the individual half marathon, there are relay competitions and a KNAX Fun Run for children. The event offers a family-friendly atmosphere with refreshments, cheer zones, and a rendezvous point for relay runners shortly before the finish line.

Additional information
Race bib distribution on October 2nd from 14:00 to 17:00 and on race day from 8:30. Race bibs are personalized and sent by mail. Late registrations are possible online until October 3rd at 10:00, thereafter on-site for a fee. Relay teams receive a relay baton for timing, which can be picked up on race day with ID. Refreshments are available at kilometers 4, 11, and 17 as well as in the finish area. Changing rooms, toilets, and baggage drop-off are located at the Sparkassen Academy at Phoenix Lake. Shuttle buses transport relay runners to the change zones. A rendezvous point is approximately 150 meters before the finish for relay runners. The course passes through parks and industrial areas.
