HuBuT - 8. Hunsbuckel-Trail

The HuBuT - Hunsbuckel-Trail is a challenging trail running event in the Hunsrück with three course lengths: ShortTrail (12 km), HalfTrail (27 km), and UltraTrail (47 km). The runs take place through diverse low mountain landscapes with green meadows, deep forests, single trails, gorges, and award-winning hiking trails. A special highlight is crossing the Geierlay suspension bridge, Germany's most beautiful and highest suspension bridge. The start and finish point is the idyllic town of Laubach, offering participants an unforgettable natural experience.

The trail features single trails, forest paths, gorges, and historic sights such as the Balduinseck castle ruins. There is a winter edition with a 6-hour run in February. The event offers multiple distances, including UltraTrail, HalfTrail, ShortTrail, and a winter edition with a 6-hour run; it takes place in Laubach in the Hunsrück; typical weather in August is warm.
