Race description
The Disibodenberg Run is a traditional community race around the Disibodenberg in Odernheim, taking place for the 38th time in 2026. The scenic course connects flat sections along the Glan river with a challenging ascent on the Eselspfad trail, shaping the character of the race. Offered are 5 km and 10 km runs, walking on the 5 km route, as well as children's and youth races starting from 200 meters. The event is sport-oriented and family-friendly, with special prizes for records, families, teams, and Walk-&-Talk groups. The award ceremony and social gathering are held in the gymnasium with coffee, cake, and grilled food.

Additional information
Preparation runs for children are held on three Tuesdays in September from 6:30 PM at the gymnasium. The entry fee is paid when collecting race materials. Special prizes are awarded for new course records, the most enthusiastic family, the largest team, and the happiest Walk-&-Talk group. The award ceremony takes place in the gymnasium, where coffee, homemade cake, and grilled food are available at reasonable prices. The event features varied terrain, parking facilities, changing rooms, and showers on site, making it a popular community event in September.
