The HafenCity Run combines sports, team spirit, and charity into one event. Northern Germany's largest corporate and fundraising run takes place once again through the modern waterfront neighborhoods – completely without performance pressure and timing! On May 17, 2025, Hamburg's business teams will lace up their running shoes to explore the impressive HafenCity while simultaneously supporting the charitable projects of Hamburger Abendblatt hilft e.V. For over 20 years, numerous teams have participated and have already raised nearly two million euros for a good cause.
Highlights
- The HafenCity Run is a charity race that recently saw more than 320 teams with around 9,000 participants, making it a celebration for everyone involved.
- The running course is different each year and covers approximately four kilometers, with the majority of the route running through the central and western HafenCity.
- For each registered participant, a voluntary donation of 6.00 euros and an additional voluntary donation of 10.00 euros for each registered team will go to the charity partner Hamburger Abendblatt hilft e.V.
