This year, there will be a new running course at the Büsum Volkslauf: the start and finish will be at the main edge of Büsum, with the route stretching along the promenade by the water, around the family lagoon, and back. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced runner, everyone will find their suitable distance with us! We offer various running distances, starting from 400m for the little ones up to 10km for the more experienced runners among you. Traditionally, the race takes place on the first Friday in July and runs through the town, the harbor, and even past the dike and the beach.
Highlights
- A fantastic sporting event in the Büsum summer season is the annual Büsum Volkslauf, which sees participation from mostly local competitors as well as a few tourists from Büsum.
- Two different running courses are offered by default, with respective distances of 5.5 km and 10 km.
- The timing is done with a transponder from Timing Gierke and is integrated into a wristband.
