Glomb City Marathon Bremerhaven

The GLOMB City Marathon Bremerhaven is an annual marathon held in Bremerhaven, taking place since 2005. The event includes not only the marathon but also a half marathon and a 10 km run. The course is a flat loop starting and finishing in front of the Bürgermeister-Smidt-Gedächtniskirche, passing through the city center and the Havenwelten. Runners experience an attractive route with many sights and a unique backdrop along the water and harbor facilities. The organizer is the event agency Execute Sports Events, which ensures professional organization.

Timing is fully electronic with a transponder integrated into the bib number, which can be disposed of after the race. There are group registrations with a 10% team discount for 10 or more participants (registration via info@execute-sports.de). Event shirts can be ordered and will be handed out at the bib pickup. The course is known as the Haven City Run and offers spectators short distances and good visibility of the runners. The event also features a sports and business fair as well as corporate and government runs. The weather in September is usually mild around 19°C, mostly cloudy. The course is known for its flatness, making it ideal for fast times.
