18. Osteroder Etappenmarathon - Etappe 1

The Osterode Stage Marathon divides the classic marathon distance of 42.195 kilometers into seven pleasant evening stages, each ranging from 5 to 7 kilometers. The first stage starts on Sunday, June 21, 2026, in Förste and passes through the beautiful Sösetal valley with views of the Lichtenstein and the famous Lichtenstein Cave. The event is open to runners, walkers, and Nordic walkers and also offers a Kids' stage over 750 meters in the Schützenpark. The stages take place daily until June 27, 2026, and are organized by regional clubs.

The first stage starts on Sunday at 10:45 AM at the sports field in Förste. The award ceremony takes place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM, including a raffle of material prizes. The event is open to runners, walkers, and Nordic walkers; membership in a club is not required. Minors need written parental consent. After the first stage, there will be a refreshment with pasta specialties from MTV Förste. The event offers a family-friendly atmosphere, supports local sponsors, and features varied routes that promote both nature and local knowledge.
