24. Duderstädter Sparkassenlauf

The 24th Duderstadt Sparkasse Run will take place on August 28, 2026, in the historic pedestrian zone of Duderstadt. The event starts at 4:00 PM with the opening ceremony in front of the town hall, which is also the finish point for all races. Various distances are offered, from a 600 m Bambini run, 1.25 km school rounds, to 5 km and 10 km races. Children and adolescents receive finisher medals, and for the 5 km and 10 km races, neckerchiefs are given. Winners are rewarded with cake. The event is supported by the town of Duderstadt, Sparkasse Duderstadt, and other sponsors.

The event begins with the opening at 4:00 PM by the patron Mayor Thorsten Feike and the board of Sparkasse Duderstadt. The Bambini races have participant limits of 250, the school rounds between 300 and 400 participants. Neck scarves are given as finisher gifts for the 5 km and 10 km races. No registration is possible on-site after the deadline. The award ceremony starts from 6:00 PM.
