Last Sunday, the 38th edition of the Steinenberg Forest Run took place, in perfect running weather with 229 participants competing on challenging and picturesque courses. The event offers a variety of competitions for different age groups and performance levels, including the Dusyma School Run, the 5 km Fun Run, the 8 km Fitness Run, the 11.3 km Run, and the Half Marathon. The courses wind through the scenic forest landscape of Steinenberg and are suitable for both experienced runners and beginners. The next Steinenberg Forest Run will take place on July 6, 2025.

Highlights

  • Nora Jäger from SV Winnenden secured victory in the Dusyma Schülerlauf for girls with a time of 9:29 minutes, while Leon Willsch from TSG Backnang Football Department won for boys with a time of 8:34 minutes.
  • Hanna Bauer won the 5 km recreational run with a time of 26:04 minutes, while Marc Scholz from Sport Schwab took the victory in the men's category with a time of 19:49 minutes.
