Every year, a total of 225 teams with five runners each compete in the famous Asparagus Run in Deinste. When the starting shot is fired, all runners head out onto the 5.5 km running course through the asparagus fields of Deinste, with each runner completing a lap while carrying an asparagus spear as a relay baton. The Asparagus Run will take place on Friday, June 7, 2024, for the 18th time and is organized in collaboration with the Werner Asparagus Farm.
