The Hopfengarten Cup Run in the southern part of the state capital Magdeburg is being organized for the 44th time this year by HSV Medizin Magdeburg and is one of the most traditional fun runs in Saxony-Anhalt. The races over 800 m, 2.4 km, 5.1 km, and 10.1 km take place through the beautiful residential area of Hopfengarten, where residents cheer and provide water refreshments along the 5.1 km loop. At the finish line, drinks, fruit, and sandwiches are available for all "finishers," followed by the award ceremonies.
