For the 7th time, the Oldersumer Appel-Loop will take place on September 13, 2025. The FC Oldersum e.V. of 1929 organizes this event, which offers various distances: a children's race for U6/U8, a children's race for U10/U12, as well as the main races over 5 km and 10 km, and a walking route of 5 km. Participants can look forward to a beautiful running course through the Oldersumer park facilities and along the canal "Rorichumer Tief." Additionally, the Oldersumer Apple Market will take place during the event weekend, where one can refuel after the race.
Highlights
- In addition to the race for "the little ones" over 800m – divided into starts for the age groups U6/U8 and U10/U12 – there is a 5km walking route, as well as the main races over 5 and 10km scheduled.
- After an atmospherically beautiful run through the Oldersum parklands, along the canal "Rorichumer Tief," we pass through the "old rope factory" museum into the Apple Park.
- This year, the Appel-Loop is already part of the East Frisian 7 for the 3rd time, the running series Emden-Oldersum.
