MOUNTAINMAN Reit im Winkl

The MOUNTAINMAN Reit im Winkl is a challenging trail running event in the Chiemgau Alps featuring five different course lengths from 11 to 73 kilometers. The routes pass through an impressive mountain scenery with highlights such as ski jumps, the idyllic Klausenbach Gorge, alpine pastures, and the Dürnbachhorn, offering breathtaking views of the Wilder Kaiser. The event is suitable for trail runners from beginners to professionals, with longer distances only recommended for experienced runners. There are special routes for hikers, and participation with dogs is possible on the shorter courses. The event offers a family-friendly atmosphere with an expo, kids' trail, community trail, and a pasta party on the eve.

Start and finish at the Festsaal Tiroler Straße 37, Reit im Winkl. Environmentally friendly travel by train recommended. Parking in the town with a 5-10 minute walk, free parking for overnight guests from Reit im Winkl. Participation with dogs on S- and M-courses is possible; start spots with dogs are fully booked, waiting list available. Flexi-ticket options for cancellation up to 30 or 2 days before the event can be purchased at an additional cost. Race documents will be sent approximately 4 weeks before the race by mail. On the day before, there is an expo, kids' trail, community trail with ALTRA, pre-race info, and a pasta party. Award ceremony at 3:00 PM on race day. The event includes various trail and hiking routes, including kids' and dogs' trails, with detailed information on registration, course profiles, and terrain. The winter trail event in March offers routes from 10 to 42 km with snow terrain and support options.
