The Central German Marathon (MDM) runs from Leipzig to Halle (Saale) and offers a unique opportunity to explore the metropolitan region of Central Germany. The marathon starts at the Sports Forum in Leipzig, while the finish line is located in the over 1,200-year-old city of Halle (Saale). The flat course winds through picturesque floodplain landscapes and forests, ideal for personal best times. In addition to the marathon distance, various shorter distances are also offered, taking place in a loop course in Halle.
