Lusatian Race Walking

The Lusatian Race Walking is an internationally recognized race walking event taking place on October 24, 2026, at the Weinauparkstadion in Zittau. The competitions cover various distances from 1 km up to the marathon, conducted on an officially measured and certified 1 km loop on flat asphalt. The event is part of the World Race Walking Tour at Silver Level and offers both elite and public races for different age groups. The organization emphasizes professional timing, medical support, and adherence to international competition rules.

Children up to 15 years start for free. Late registrations are possible until October 21, 2026, with an additional fee of 20 EUR. Accreditation and bib number distribution will take place on October 23 from 16:00 to 18:00 and on October 24 from 8:00 in the start and finish area. The marathon time limit is 4:45 hours. Doping controls will be conducted according to World Athletics and WADA standards. The race takes place on a flat asphalt course in Weinaupark in Zittau, with categories for youth, adults, and masters. Judging seminars and international competition rules are also applied.
