Internationaler Sparverein Silvesterlauf Saarbrücken

The International Sparverein Silvesterlauf Saarbrücken is a traditional race to mark the end of the year, taking place on December 27, 2026, at the Sportcampus Saar. The main distance is an officially measured 10 km loop course, mostly running through the Saarbrücken city forest, with start and finish lines located in the stadium of the Sportcampus. In addition to the main race, there are other competitions for students and children on flat loop courses. The race attracts numerous participants and spectators each year and offers a special atmosphere with sporting highlights and attractive prizes.

Registrations are possible online until December 27 at 10:00 AM, as well as on-site on December 27 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on December 28 from 10:30 AM until one hour before the respective start. On-site registration is cash only. Parking is free in the parking garage of the University of Saarland, about a 5-minute walk to the start area. Certificates can be printed online at www.meisterchip.de. There are trophies and vouchers for the top finishers in various categories, as well as medals for children races. Race takes place in winter, free parking available in the university parking garage, on-site registration only cash.
