Herzogstadtlauf Straubing

The Herzogstadtlauf in Straubing is a traditional community run taking place on June 13 and 14, 2026, appealing to runners of all ages. From children's races to various distances including the BMW Half Marathon, the event offers a diverse program with attractive routes through the historic city and the city park. In addition to the sporting challenge, a comprehensive supporting program with stage performances and DJ music creates a lively atmosphere. The event promotes community and health and is a highlight in the Eastern Bavarian running calendar.

On Saturday, children's races with multiple start times from 15:30 to 19:00 are held; on Sunday, main races start from 09:00 with warm-up program. There is a functional shirt available in a special design offered annually. Registration is possible online, including group and corporate registrations. For children's races, a school registration with card is possible until April 17. The supporting program features stage performances, cheerleaders, and DJs to entertain during the event. Various race routes, functional shirts, medals, refreshments, timing by ZEITGEMAESS, sports physiotherapy support, certificates, prizes, vouchers, and a free finisher video are provided.
