Glücksburger Nikolaus-Crosslauf

The Glücksburg Nikolaus Cross Run is a cross-country event held in December in Glücksburg on the Baltic Sea, organized by TSV Glücksburg 09. The races start and end at the Schwennau Arena, Flensburger Straße 2. Adults and older teenagers can choose between a 4.1 km medium and an 8.2 km long cross-country race, while younger children participate in shorter, playful runs. The event features a Santa Claus theme with a piggyback race for parents with babies and various children’s and youth races. Each participant receives a chocolate Christmas Santa as a gift.

The youngest races are not timed to maintain the playful character. The event takes place in typical December weather with temperatures around 3 °C and frequent snowfall. The event also includes volunteer assignments at the start, finish, and along the course as well as refreshments with coffee, tea, and cake. Registration is online, and the event takes place at the Schwennau Arena in Glücksburg.
