Sparkassen-LüneCross

The Sparkassen-LüneCross is an exciting and challenging cross-country event set amidst nature and the city of Lüneburg. The varied course runs over sandy and root-covered paths, meadows, forest trails, and gravel tracks, demanding endurance, strength, and running technique. Main races are offered over 4 km and 8 km, with shorter distances for children and adolescents as well as relay competitions over 8 km. Besides the sporting experience, the focus is on the fun of running and community, with a school ranking and a social award ceremony afterwards.

There is a school ranking with prizes for schools with the highest participation rate. Catering is provided, and after the races, an award ceremony and social gathering take place. Relay competitions can be formed with 3 to 6 runners from family, company, team, or friends. The course runs through nature, including forest trails, meadows, sand, and gravel; registration required; family and group events possible.
