The Friesencross on July 19, 2025, is one of the most extraordinary cross-country races in Germany, with its unique running course right on the North Sea coast. The route runs along the dike, past dune landscapes, and through fine sandy beach, before participants run through the Wadden Sea. The refreshing North Sea air and the view of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wadden Sea make the experience unforgettable. Parallel to the Friesencross, the Friesen Festival takes place on the beach in Schillig, providing an entertaining supporting program.
