The Friesencross on July 25, 2026, is one of the most extraordinary cross-country races in Germany, thanks to its unique location. During the race, runners can enjoy the refreshing North Sea air and gaze out over the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Wadden Sea. The route takes them across sandy beaches, meadows, and even the muddy seabed. Concurrently with the Friesencross, the Friesenfestival will take place on the beach at Schillig, providing a comprehensive supporting program before and after the races.
