EWE Nordseelauf - Etappe 1

The EWE North Sea Run is a traditional stage race across seven different East Frisian North Sea islands, attracting running enthusiasts from Germany and other countries for over two decades. The first stage takes place on Borkum, the largest island, renowned for its unique nature, maritime flair, and healthy high-sea climate. The route runs along the promenade with start and finish at the same location. The race offers a combination of sporting challenge and the experience of the North Sea coast in a family-friendly and fair competitive atmosphere.

Race bib distribution on race day from 10:45 to 12:00 in the Kulturinsel Borkum. Sports bag storage from 11:30 to 14:30. Changing rooms and toilets in Kulturinsel Borkum, showers at Gezeitenland Borkum. Award ceremony at 15:00. Race bib with integrated chip for timing; the bib must not be folded. Information events on June 19th in Bensersiel for preparation. No waiting list or transfer list; start places are non-transferable. Stages on seven islands, limited capacity due to ferry and infrastructure restrictions, no waiting list, no transfers.
