The 20th Hennefer European Run on June 20, 2026, offers a diverse range of races from 1000 meters up to the half marathon (21.1 km). The routes lead through the center of Hennef, along Lake Allner, and through the picturesque Sieg Valley. The event is family-friendly, featuring beginner-friendly runs for children and beginners as well as challenging courses for ambitious runners. Special emphasis is placed on inclusion, with dedicated races for people with disabilities. The event is organized by the Hennefer Gymnastics Club in cooperation with the city of Hennef and takes place in a friendly, volunteer-driven atmosphere.

Late registrations are possible on the day of the event from 8:00 AM until 60 minutes before the respective start at the town hall, with a late registration fee of €2 per person and race. Start and finish are located at the Historic Town Hall of Hennef (Frankfurter Straße 97). Changing rooms and showers are available at Kronos Aktivclub. Timing is professionally managed with disposable chips from runtiming. The award ceremony takes place at 1:00 PM in front of the town hall. There is a team challenge with cash prizes for the best teams in the HIT Panorama Run. The courses are not suitable for wheelchair users, and coaching by bicycle leads to disqualification. Various routes are available, including accessible, panoramic, and challenging half marathon with elevation meters and bridges.
