Race description
The Bottwartal Marathon is a popular running event in one of the most beautiful landscapes of southern Germany. The course leads through gentle vineyard slopes, idyllic old towns, and offers an exhilarating atmosphere at the roadside. Whether beginner or ambitious runner, everyone will find their personal highlight here. The dedicated organizing team ensures an unforgettable running experience with a lot of heart and precision.

Additional information
Monthly training runs with different pace groups and guides for preparation. Summer runs every Tuesday evening during the summer holidays, 10 km long run, free of charge and no registration required. Year-end run as a traditional event with a 10 km race and afterwards punch & mulled wine. The 5 km run starts at Rosenplatz in Großbottwar with a historic course and flat finish.
