Barbarossalauf 2026

The Barbarossalauf 2026 returns on July 19th as a city run in Erlenbach am Main. The new course starts centrally at the old fire station and runs flat and naturally along the Main River before leading through the historic old town of Erlenbach to the finish. The event offers races for various age groups and distances, from school runs to the 10 km main race, which consists of two laps. The course is ideal for beginners and ambitious runners aiming for fast times, showcasing Erlenbach at its most beautiful.

Race documents will be issued on the day of the event from 1:30 PM at the old fire station. Shirts are available only while supplies last. Timing is done via bib scanning at the finish. Parking is available at the mountain swimming pool and train station. Refund of the participation fee is 80% until July 12, 2026, thereafter 50%. Transfers are possible at any time. Multiple race distances are offered, including marathon, half marathon, 10 km, and shorter runs; the event promotes running in the region; registration is possible until the day of the event.
