Ochsenweiherlauf Emskirchen

The Oxen Pond Run in Emskirchen is a traditional running event organized by TSV Emskirchen, taking place annually on October 3rd. The event offers various race distances for all age groups, including a toddler run, youth/school run, hobby run, walking, and the main race over 10 km. The course runs over paved forest paths around the Oxen Pond and is suitable for both recreational runners and ambitious athletes. Catering is provided, and the times can be used for the German Sports Badge.

Registration on the day of the event is possible until 1 hour before the start for an additional fee of 2 EUR. The event is approved by the Bavarian Athletics Association and the regulations of the German Athletics Rules apply. Bags can be stored in the changing room; keys and valuables are kept safe upon presentation of the starting number. The times for the main race and the walking/nordic walking 7.5 km can be used for the German Sports Badge.
