Augsburger AOK-Winterlaufserie Südring

The Augsburg AOK Winter Running Series organized by TG Viktoria Augsburg consists of four races that pass through the beautiful Westliche Wälder Nature Park. The courses run through hilly terrain and require good fitness and health. The event offers classifications for various age groups and an overall ranking with attractive prizes and trophies. The races take place on Saturdays and one Sunday in November and December and are ideal for runners of all ages seeking a varied winter running series.

Number bibs are issued at the start/finish area. Mobile WC at the Kathreinerstraße parking lot (races 1-3). Changing clothes/luggage can be stored in tents or pavilions, but without liability. Refreshments include tea, water, and a cake buffet at races 1-3; race 4 additionally features mulled wine and children's punch. Award ceremony after the 4th race with wooden trophies and cash prizes. Parking in Bergheim, Kathreinerstraße, or surrounding streets; not at the Bergheim sports home. Races in November and December, meeting points usually at Kathreinerstraße and Brennhölzerweg in Augsburg-Bergheim, typically rainy weather with about 7°C.
