Alpener Stadtlauf

The Alpen City Run takes place on the Wednesday before Corpus Christi, June 3, 2026, and is a traditional running event in the municipality of Alpen. The course leads on a roughly 2.5-kilometer loop through the heart of Alpen, starting and finishing at the Alpen Sports Center. The program is aimed at all age and performance levels, with races from the Bambini run to the 10-kilometer race. The event thrives on a lively atmosphere and the support of spectators along the route.

Bambini runs (400 m) are free of charge. Certificates and prizes for the top finishers in each age group. Special awards for the largest pre-registered club, fastest boss/bosses and apprentices in the company run, as well as for the schools and daycare centers with the most participants. Bib number distribution at the race office on the sports center grounds. Use of numerous parking spaces in the city center is possible. Music devices are prohibited during the competition. Late registration until 60 minutes before the start is possible for a fee of 3 euros. The event takes place at the Alpen Sports Center; includes various race distances and community activities.
