Race description
The Hella Hamburg Half Marathon is a major running event in Hamburg held annually on the last Sunday of June. On an officially measured, flat, and asphalted 21.0975 km course, up to 24,000 runners experience a unique running party through the Hanseatic city. The route passes approximately 50 sights and is accompanied by numerous event points with DJ support and live music. The event is known for its great atmosphere and the traffic-free course, secured by police and marshals.

Start time Sunday from 08:30 a.m., finish closing at 1:40 p.m. (maximum finish time 3:30 hours). Participants born in 2010 or earlier are eligible. Cancellation option for 10.00 euros available until June 9, 2026. Medal engraving (8.00 euros), functional shirt (35.00 euros), and official socks (20.00 euros) can be ordered online until June 9, 2026. Bib distribution takes place in the foyer (details not fully specified). The course is flat, asphalted, traffic-free; registration online; bib pickup at the exhibition grounds; timing with transponder; separate classifications for men and women.
