2. Jenaer Backyard Ultra

The 2nd Jena Backyard Ultra is a unique 'Last Human Standing' race in Jena-Cospeda, Thuringia. All participants start simultaneously every hour on a 6.7 km loop, which they must complete within an hour. Those who fail to finish the loop or give up are eliminated. The race ends when only one runner remains, having completed the loop within the time limit. In addition to individual standings, there is a team classification for teams of up to three participants, which accumulate the most laps over the duration.

Arrival from 05.06.2026 16:00 is possible. Tent facilities are available on the event grounds, but there are no parking spaces for caravans, campers, or cars. Parking is only permitted in designated areas on Mühlenweg, a few minutes' walk from the site. Basic supplies of drinks, fruit, vegetables, and snacks are provided during the event. The race starts at 6:00 AM; participants must bring their own food and drinks. Tent and parking facilities are available. The participant limit has already been reached; all spots are booked.
