The ADAC Marathon Hannover offers a diverse running experience with distances ranging from 4 to 42 km, including the marathon, half marathon, relay marathon, 10 km run, and handbike marathon. The course is one of the flattest in Germany with only 19 meters of elevation change, which favors personal best times. The event is characterized by urban flair, modern music, and green sections of the course that pass through the city center and notable hotspots of Hannover. In addition to the athletic competition, participants can enjoy a comprehensive supporting program with an expo, power party, and finisher celebration.

Race bibs are issued at the marathon expo during the marathon weekend. The course is very flat and thus ideal for personal best times. Live tracking is available via the ADAC Marathon app. There is a massage area and showers. The supporting program includes the ROSSMANN Power Party, expo, and finisher party at the brewery.
