14. Burgdorfer Spargel-Lauf

The Burgdorf Asparagus Run is an annual running event held as part of the Oktobermarkt city festival in Burgdorf. On October 4, 2026, the 14th edition of this popular event will take place, welcoming hobby runners of all ages. The courses run along the Aue river and through the city center, starting and finishing at the Auebrücke Poststraße / Braunschweiger Straße. The event offers races over 2.5 km, 5 km, 10 km, as well as Nordic walking and a children's run.

Timing is done electronically via chip at the start number. Online certificates are available for all participants. Late registration on the day of the event from 12:30 to 13:30 with an additional fee of €4 is possible. Parking options include the train station, Schützenplatz, and Rathaus II. The award ceremony takes place at the Auebrücke after the main races. The run takes place in all weather conditions. The course runs through Burgdorf along the Aue, castle, and city park; registration is open until October 2, 2024; parking is available nearby.
