Zeiler Waldmarathon

The Zeiler Waldmarathon takes place on November 14, 2026, in Zeil am Main and offers challenging running routes through the Haßberge Nature Park. The course mainly runs on paved forest paths with a varied route over the Schlossberg, Bischofsheimer Höhe, and past several lakes. There are competitions for marathon, half marathon, as well as walking/nordic walking over 21.1 km and 7.5 km. The event is organized by TV 1884 Zeil and features professional timing with an integrated chip.

Start and finish at the Setzbachbrunnen in the Zeil am Main running park. Timing with integrated chip. Marathon runners can switch to the half marathon after one lap. Parking is available at the indoor pool and school parking lot as well as Tuchanger parking lot with city bus transfer. Bib number pickup at the school on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Showers and changing rooms are available in the school gymnasium. No clothing storage at the start/finish area. Free bus transfer every 5 minutes from the school building to the start line. The course runs almost exclusively on paved forest paths in the Haßberge Nature Park. There are refreshment stations every 5 km, bib numbers with chips, parking at the indoor pool and school parking lot, as well as showers and changing rooms in the school gymnasium. Medals are awarded to all participants after the race, and there is an option for a free bus transfer.
