With the hardfooters, you can shorten the wait for Christmas and end the season with a bang on one of the beautiful routes of the X-MAS Trail. Three challenging tracks lead you through the fantastic winter landscape in the Hunsrück-Hochwald Nature Park. Attention! The run requires that you navigate autonomously in the forest, possibly in biting cold. Especially on the long routes, you should be able to find your way as experienced trail runners in adverse weather conditions such as snowfall and cold. The mandatory gear is absolutely necessary in case something happens to you or if you simply become exhausted.
Highlights
- The routes of the X-MAS TRAILS take us from the Hochwaldhalle Weiskirchen through moss-covered forests with numerous single trails and many watercourses.
- The two long routes cross wild streams on many small bridges, leading up to the Schimmelkopf, and return over rocky and root-filled trails.
