The Würzburg Memorial Run will take place on March 22, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Würzburg Town Hall and commemorates the destruction of the city during World War II. This special run brings together numerous runners each year, not with competitive intentions, but with the goal of actively remembering. Participants can choose between various distances: approximately 5 km, 10 km, 21 km (half marathon), 28 km, and 44 km (ultra distance). Refreshments will be available at aid stations along the route, and in Gemünden, runners can look forward to a treat of coffee and cake after the run.

Highlights
