The TuS Wunstorf is organizing the 2nd Wunstorf City Run through the city center. The loop course is 1,400 meters long and offers races up to 10 kilometers. The start and finish line is in front of the town church. The schedule includes various distances, including a Bambini run of 400m, elementary school races of 900m, a student run over 1,600m, a middle distance of 4,400m, and the main race over 10,000m.
Highlights
- An absolute sensation – Anne Hildebrandt from the junior gymnastics group of ASV Wunstorf won the girls' race in the U10 category on Saturday, September 13, 2025, with over a 10-second lead.
- A total of nearly 80 children participated in the U10 elementary school race, demonstrating the high level of engagement and interest in the event.
- The run also served as a dress rehearsal for the upcoming orienteering event at the Northern German Championships in 3 weeks.
