The Winter Running Series takes place both in-person and virtually, with the virtual races occurring one week later than the respective events in Duisburg. This allows participants who cannot start on one of the in-person dates to make up the race and still receive a high-quality medal as finishers. The start and finish are located in the Sports Park Duisburg, with the start at Margaretenstraße in front of the "Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena" and the finish in the athletics stadium. The courses are officially measured by the DLV and provide the opportunity to optimize personal performance during the winter months.
