Welcome to one of the most traditional fun runs in Hamburg. The International Wilhelmsburg Island Run takes you across Europe’s largest inland island – past community gardens, towards the Dove Elbe, along the dike, and back to the finish line via streets and dirt paths. Every finisher receives the popular railway worker medal at the finish, honoring the founding fathers of the Railway Sports Club Unity of 1908 e.V. The race features an attractive loop course (asphalt and park paths) through Old Wilhelmsburg and along the Dove Elbe.
