You want singletrails? You get singletrails! On September 5, 2026, the premiere of the WILDMAN will take place in the beautiful mountain town of Wildemann in the Upper Harz. Experience challenging ascents and technical downhills through spruce forests and alpine meadows on routes of 55, 35, 20, or 12 km through the Harz mountains. The event offers genuine trail running with a high percentage of singletrack and is part of the ITRA National League as well as a UTMB Index Race.
Highlights
- The routes mainly traverse natural paths in the Harz Mountains, featuring a high proportion of singletrack, stones, roots, and narrow trails; asphalt is only found sporadically.
- On the event weekend, there will be a colorful supporting program with a pasta party on the eve, a barbecue party, and other activities.
- The WILDMAN Ultra consists of the course of the WILDMAN Fun followed by the course of the WILDMAN Classic, with a time limit of 10 hours.
