Get ready to really push yourselves in the grounds of our park and the adjacent forests – at the Western Run in Bestwig, you have the chance to do just that! This popular running event, taking place for the 20th time on June 1, 2024, is the perfect destination for the whole family, featuring a total of 12 races for active children, teenagers, and adults. The courses mostly traverse forest paths through the beautiful Sauerland woods and offer unique landscape highlights, such as the Plästerlegge, the highest waterfall in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Highlights
- The TuS Valmetal is hosting its Western Run at Fort Fun Adventure Land on Saturday, June 1, for the 20th time.
- On all running routes, only ten to fifteen percent of the course is paved; the rest consists of forest paths through the Sauerland woods.
- The final event is the Wild West Run over ten kilometers, which starts at 2 PM.
