The Wehrheim Backyard Ultra, first held in 2021, has quickly established itself as a beloved running event known beyond the borders of the Taunus region. On May 30, 2026, the sixth edition of this private invitation run will take place, organized in a family atmosphere for experienced ultra and hobby runners. The course spans 6.706 km through the picturesque landscape surrounding Wehrheim and offers challenging elevation gain as well as breathtaking views of the Taunus mountains. At the end of each lap awaits the notorious "Meadow of Horror," which can be muddy depending on the weather conditions.
