VR-Bank-Lauf - Rund um die Veste Coburg

The 44th VR-Bank Run "Around the Veste Coburg" on July 5, 2026, is one of the most popular running events in the Coburg region. The main race over 10 km leads through the idyllic Hofgarten, past the impressive Veste Coburg, to the airfield, and back to the sports grounds of TV 1848 Coburg. In addition to the main race, there is a 1.6 km children's and youth run as well as a 400 m Bambini run for the youngest participants. The event offers a lively atmosphere with refreshment stations and a fan mile, providing extra motivation for the runners.

Start numbers must be attached with own safety pins. Race documents can be picked up on July 4 from 2 PM to 5 PM and on July 5 from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM. Late registrations incur a fee of 4 euros (except for Bambini run). The first 800 registrations for the main and children’s runs will receive a finisher T-shirt. At the finish area, there is free catering with fruit, mineral water, and non-alcoholic cappuccino. Certificates and results are available online. Bambini run without timing and placement, with medals for all participants. Registration until July 2, 2026. Race bibs with chip, certificate, and finisher T-shirt for the first 800 registrations. Flat course on city and club grounds.
