The Vogelsberg South Railway Run will take place for the 20th time on July 20, 2025, offering a perfect running experience through the hills and across the meadows, forests, and villages of southern Vogelsberg. The routes partially follow the paved Vogelsberg South Railway cycle path as well as on solid forest and field paths, and they are well marked, with each kilometer indicated. Refreshments will be available every 2.5 km, and there are some moderate inclines to overcome. The start and finish are located at 310 m above sea level, while the highest point of the half marathon distance is at 460 m above sea level.
