The Mützenicher Vennlauf takes place on May 25, 2024, in Mützenich near Monschau and offers a challenging experience in a breathtaking landscape. The course is essentially a half marathon with about 300 meters more and around 250 meters of elevation gain. Forest and moor alternate, and the elevation profile is bowl-shaped – initially 2 km uphill, then downhill to km 11, followed by an ascent to km 19, and finally a downhill dash to the finish. The Vennlauf is a community running festival for the whole family, combining running with a natural experience in the nature reserve "Hohes Venn."
