Race description
The Usedom Beach Marathon is Germany's first beach marathon and takes place on June 6, 2026, on the island of Usedom. The runs take place exclusively on sand along the Baltic Sea coast, without asphalt or road traffic, offering a unique natural and running experience directly by the sea. Participants can choose from a marathon, half marathon, 10 km short distance, or a relay marathon. The event combines sporting challenge with a special beach atmosphere and a professional program at the finish area in Ahlbeck.

Additional information
The marathon has a time limit of 7 hours (cut-off at 16:00). Exceeding the time limit results in no further course security or catering. The relay consists of 5 segments with at least 3 runners per team, with classifications for female, male, and mixed teams. Start areas are Zinnowitz, Koserow, or Ahlbeck, with a common finish area in Ahlbeck. There is a professional entertainment and information program from 10:00 to 18:00 at the finish area. Running on sand, no asphalt course, start and finish areas in Zinnowitz, Koserow, or Ahlbeck, including catering, medal, certificate, and shuttle transfers.
