The 40th Unterlandlauf will take place on April 19, 2026, in Schwaigern and will lead through the picturesque vineyards as well as the city center. Participants can choose between distances of 3 km, 5 km, and a half marathon, with the half marathon route including a city loop at the beginning and end. For younger runners, there will be a student and a children's race, while the 5 km race will feature a team classification for teams of three. For the first time, the timing will be based on net time, allowing each runner to receive their personal time.
