Welcome to the birthplace of Theodor Heuss and the largest wine-growing community in Württemberg. The 26th edition of the Theodor Heuss Run will take place on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Wiesental Stadium in Brackenheim. Around 1,000 sports enthusiasts participated last year, and we aim to continue this tradition by inspiring both established runners and hobby runners, especially children and young people, to engage in sports and physical activity. In addition to the 10 km main race and the 5 km fun run, we also offer a 3 km student race as well as 400 m races for toddlers and kindergarteners.
Highlights
- The Heuss Run was established on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Theo Heuss's election as Federal President.
- The running route follows the bike path along Austraße and through the picturesque landscape back to the stadium in Wiesental.
